Chanda Gibson

Chanda Gibson (née Legroulx) is an Ottawa born actor who graduated from the University of Ottawa with an honours bachelor’s degree in theatre in 2005. 


For the past ten years, she has worked with a wide range of theatre companies and in various plays such as Past Perfect, Exit(s), Noises Off, Desir, The Doctors, Boeing Boeing, iShow, The Precious Young Ladies and Peau. 

Founding member of the theatre collective Les Petites Cellules Chaudes, she took part in the creation of iShow, a multi media performance piece which has been seen at the OFFTA, FOE, Usine C (Montréal), FZT and the Toronto Summerworks Theatre Festival. In 2015, the show triumphed in 11 cities across France.

On-screen, Chanda has portrayed the lead characters of Maureen Berton in Les Bleus de Ramville (TFO) and Billy Jean Caron in Météo+ (TFO). She has also been seen in Motel Monstre (TFO), Consensus, Vision Polyphonique (TV5), SatisfactionNikita (CTV)and Toi et Moi III. 

Her commercial work includes lending her voice and acting skills to various products and advertising campaigns across Ontario and Canada. 

Constantly thriving to perfect her art of acting, Chanda has done many workshops in Canada and Europe and continuously focuses on enriching her craft.
